OXFORD, Nov 3, 2010 -
Publishers depend on many ways to find out what readers think of the books they have recently published. One way of doing this is to analyze sales figures; obviously, the better it sells, the more popular it is. Another way is to look at reviews in the papers and in online publications; positive reviews reflect a well written book that hopefully contributes in some way to our American story. A third way is to read reviews and feedback written by ordinary readers themselves. People do this all the time on social networking sites and on websites of the publishers and booksellers themselves.
So, far, initial book sales and reviews of Stephen Enzweiler's new work, OXFORD IN THE CIVIL WAR indicate that it has been well received by the reading public in the first two months since its release. Of course, there are the sales figures and official book
reviews that tell us this; but as we said earlier, that's only part of the story of knowing how well a book is doing! We still need your reader comments and reviews!!
So, what can you do to help?? Simply put, tell us what you think of the book by writing a quick review for us! You can do this on Facebook or on any one of the bookseller sites listed below! You can rate the book, and then write some comments where it says "Write a review." Or if you wish, send us an email at books@stephenenzweiler.com with your comments!
It takes only a few minutes to do and your comments will help others know more about the book that tells the incredible true story of Oxford, Mississippi and Ole Miss during the
Civil War!
We APPRECIATE you taking the time to tell us what you think. THANK YOU!
